Sometimes the perfect ring starts with a gemstone you already love. 💚

Our client came to us with her beautiful mint green corundum and a vision: she wanted to transform this special stone into the custom ring she had been dreaming of.

From there, Russ designed a setting that would make the color and unique beauty of her gemstone the star. The mint green center is framed by trapezoid diamond side stones, creating a striking three-stone look, while the split-style shank adds another layer of detail without taking away from that incredible center stone.

This is one of our favorite parts of custom design. Taking a gemstone that belongs to you and creating something completely personal around it. Rather than trying to find a ready-made setting that almost works, we design the ring specifically for the stone, the style, and the person who will wear it. ✨

A client called us and said, “I’m ready to design a wrist tiara, something unlike anything I’ve ever seen on anyone.” 👑💜

Our response? We can do that.

We repurposed her beautiful amethyst and diamonds and gave them an entirely new life in this one-of-a-kind rose and white gold bracelet. The mix of metals, sweeping lines, rich purple amethyst, and diamonds came together exactly as a wrist tiara should - bold, artistic, and completely unique to her.

And she is DIVINE. ✨👑

One of our favorite necklaces we have ever created has officially made its way to one very lucky wife in Texas! ✨ And, of course, we couldn’t send it off without the matching earrings!

At the heart of this extraordinary set is Imperial Topaz, one of the rarest and most prized varieties of topaz in the world. Coveted for its warm peach, pink, golden and sometimes reddish undertones, fine Imperial Topaz is found in very limited quantities. Finding exceptional stones is difficult enough, but sourcing multiple gems with beautiful color and character that complement one another makes a collection like this even more remarkable. ✨

But the rare gemstones were only the beginning. Russ designed and handcrafted this necklace to allow each individual stone to become part of a larger composition. Different shapes, sizes and shades of Imperial Topaz were thoughtfully arranged alongside sparkling diamonds to create an organic, almost botanical design that follows the neckline beautifully. Every angle, proportion and placement was intentional, while still giving the finished piece movement and softness.

And then there are those matching drop earrings… 😍 Because a necklace like this deserved companions just as special!

This is what we love most about custom jewelry. Taking remarkable gemstones from nature and transforming them into something that exists nowhere else in the world. ✨

From our studio in North Carolina to its new home in Texas, we hope this one-of-a-kind set becomes part of her story for generations to come.

Congratulations to the future Mr. & Mrs. Schrader! 💍❤️

There’s something extra special about creating a ring when you know the moment it’s being made for and this one made its way all the way to Paris! 🇫🇷

We loved bringing their vision to life with a custom platinum, Art Deco-inspired engagement ring, centered around a beautiful oval diamond and filled with thoughtful diamond details from every angle. It’s timeless and so very romantic.

And then came the best part… she said YES in front of the Eiffel Tower! 🥹

Getting to see these photos and knowing that something created here in our studio became part of such an unforgettable moment is why we love what we do.

Congratulations, you two! We’re so happy for you and honored to have played a small part in the beginning of this next chapter. 🥂✨

Bold proportions. Clean lines. Diamonds doing exactly what they’re supposed to do. 💎

This custom bridal set pairs a statement oval center with oval diamond side stones, creating beautiful finger coverage while keeping the overall design balanced. The wide polished yellow gold shank gives the engagement ring a strong, modern foundation.

For the wedding band, we carried that same substantial gold profile through and added scattered flush-set diamonds in varying sizes giving the band movement and interest without competing with the engagement ring.

Two rings designed individually, but made to feel complete together.

From one beautiful setting to another ✨💛

You may remember this gorgeous cushion-cut yellow diamond from the engraved mounting we shared back on July 20th, the same mounting that found its perfect new match with a vibrant blue zircon.

But the story didn’t end there.

Our client loved her yellow diamond and wanted to give it a whole new look for her engagement ring. Her wish list? A bigger presence on the hand, comfortable everyday wear, and an entirely golden look.

We created a bold new design featuring her cushion-cut yellow diamond surrounded by a halo of yellow diamonds, all wrapped in warm yellow gold. This gives her center diamond significantly more presence while keeping the design streamlined and incredibly wearable.

And the best part? She was absolutely thrilled with her upgrade. 💛

This is why we love redesigning jewelry. Sometimes a treasured stone simply needs a new setting to feel completely new again, and in this case, one redesign ultimately gave two beautiful gemstones their perfect homes.

Today, the world feels a little less sparkly. 🤍✨

There are some people whose legacy simply cannot be measured by awards, records, accolades, or years. Dolly Parton was one of those rare souls.

Her incredible talent gave us songs that became the soundtrack to our lives, but her legacy reached far beyond music. She gave generously, loved deeply, stayed true to her roots, championed childhood literacy, treasured family, shared her faith, and used her success to make life a little brighter for others. She showed us that you could be larger than life while still leading with kindness, humility, humor, and heart. 💖

How blessed are we to have lived in the same lifetime as Dolly Parton? To have heard her voice, laughed at her quick wit, watched her shine, and witnessed the extraordinary impact one person could have on generations of people.

As jewelers, we talk so often about legacy. We are entrusted with pieces that belonged to mothers, grandmothers, fathers, husbands, wives, and loved ones who came before us. And time and time again, we are reminded that the true value of an heirloom has very little to do with the gold or gemstones it holds. Its greatest value is in the story, the memories, and the person who once held it close. 💕

Dolly leaves behind an heirloom of her own...one made of music, generosity, laughter, faith, stories, and love. It is a legacy that will be passed from generation to generation, long after all of us are gone.

There will never be another Dolly.

We will cherish the songs. We will tell the stories. We will remember the laughter, the rhinestones, the big hair, the butterflies, and that unmistakable voice. But most importantly, we will remember the heart underneath all that sparkle.

Heaven sure gained some sparkle today. ✨ We find comfort knowing that Dolly is now home with our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. 🤍

What a life. What a woman. What an incredible legacy.

Thank you, Dolly, for sharing your gifts with the world. How lucky - how truly blessed - we were to be here at the same time.
