The dust has settled on the 2026 NCMTA Conference, and we are looking back at this year’s conference with so much gratitude!

Behind every successful event are countless late nights, endless problem-solving, and a massive amount of heart.

An extra special thank you to our Conference Chair, Sheila Dacus. Sheila orchestrated this multi-layered operation from top to bottom. She masterfully steered us through a full schedule with grace, precision, and dedication. The success of this year’s conference is a direct reflection of her incredible leadership!

We also owe a big thank you to our Local Conference Chair, Dr. Sam Gingher, for his vital support on the ground—coordinating local logistics, securing classrooms, practice rooms, the concert hall, and assisting with promotional updates.

Thank you, Sheila and Sam, for giving so much of your valuable time and energy to our community. NCMTA is incredibly grateful to have you both! 🎶
