Goldilocks began as Art's Coin Chest on Catalina Island in 1966. After several years of island life, Art Reel moved to Reno, where his brother Robert Reel joined him in 1973, creating Goldilocks Jewelry and Coin. The family owned Jewelry store was a landmark for downtown Reno until 2013 when the store moved to its new location on the corner of McCarran and Lakeside. In 2014 Jeremy Reel, Robert's s
on, took over the business and is now the proud owner. He received his education from the Gemology Institute of America in Los Angeles, California and through apprentice work at Goldilocks. Jeremy has a passion for watches and stone setting. Jeremy and wife, Nicole, enjoy living in South Reno with their three year old son Lincoln. They love Nevada and enjoy all the outdoor sports that it has to offer. Nicole is an avid Equestrian and enjoys competing with her horse on the local SNHSA circuit. Jeremy loves to fish and enjoys skiing in the winter. Married for nearly seven years now, this couple has a strong sense of family, which sets Goldilocks apart. "Many of our customer's have been with us for generations. We have been the community's jewelry store and that is who we will always be. We love what we do and we enjoy being a part of special moments in our clients lives."
