It took 3 days to make 3 pairs of earrings (one not pictured because it’s still not finished). 🫣
Is this a normal amount of time to make my bookshelf earrings? No. It would probably take me 1 full day if I could create with no interruptions. But I have a toddler who comes up to me and says “momma play” 🥹 (can’t say no to that sweet little face), a part time job, and other basic household things that keep me busy.

Sometimes I do get jealous of resellers and other vendors that can just package their items and sell. But then I see the face of a customer who is in awe of my jewelry and they say “You MADE these?!”. The fact that I can share my talents and passions with the world make it worth it. This business has made me appreciate slow made items in our fast passed world.

So for now I’ll enjoy playing trains with my son and adding a book or a couple leaves here and there when I have a few minutes. And that’s okay 🫶🏻

I’ve been working on something special this summer 🥰

It’s been a quiet summer for my business and this is why (first trimester was rough)! But we are so blessed to welcome another baby boy next year! 💙
