I will be teaching some beach glass jewelry making classes at this event in June. If interested go to their website to reqister.

There will be all types of classes and events going on thru out the day.
Sat., June 20 at 2 Mile Run County Park
Franklin, PA
8 am - 5 pm.
The workshop lineup for the return of the Women's Outdoor Workshops (WOW), now under the leadership of Penn Soil RC&D. There will be 25 different workshop topics to make your 4 - first choice and 4- second choice selections from for the first WOW event planned for women and girls ages 12 years old and up for 2026 taking place Sat., June 20 at 2 Mile Run County Park in Franklin, PA from 8 am - 5 pm.
Registration forms can be found on our website Home page and on the Blog page in the Blurb about WOW at www.pennsoil.org and the deadline to register is June 1st! Register early to secure your 1st choice workshop selections! You can also pay the registration fee of $40 through our Shop page by selecting the WOW registration icon along with any extra material fees that coincide with a few workshops that have an extra materials cost of $5/each. Registration forms can be emailed back to Penn Soil at [email protected], mailed or dropped off at to the office at 4000 Conawango Ave., Warren, PA 16365 along with a check if you don't wish to pay online.

Remember to bring extra cash as we will have a basket raffle and a 50/50 drawing along with other programming that will take place during the lunch break.
Questions about the event can be directed to us through our email or you can call the office and talk with Sue Nielsen or Sherry Moore at 814-726-1441. We are also looking for folks that would like to volunteer at the event, donate an item for the basket raffle and/ or be a sponsor of the event. Sponsorship forms are available by emailing or calling the office.

RESERVE NOW:
Crushed glass suncatcher class coming up in June. Call library to register.
Participants will create suncatchers using fun wooden shapes and crushed glass. This class is for adults and will be led by Christine Roessler, Blue Mermaid Beach Glass.
Stop by the Reference Room on the second floor of the library in advance to register and pay the $15 class fee.
