Major: Marketing
Hometown: Monroe, LA

“I could go on and on about what Sigma Kappa means to me. The girls in this chapter create such a positive and uplifting environment that you can’t help but want to be a part of. They challenge me to grow into a better friend, leader, and sister every day. One of my favorite parts of serving as Vice President of Marketing has been getting to showcase the unique personalities, genuine friendships, and special bonds that make our chapter so incredible. I can’t wait for PNMs to experience that same love and sisterhood firsthand during recruitment! I’m incredibly grateful to be surrounded by such amazing people, and even more grateful for the opportunity to give back to a chapter that has given so much to me🤍”- Mallory

“Coming through recruitment, I prayed for like-minded sisters, girls who prioritize their faith, their schooling, and their goals, and who would push me to be better every single day. Joining Sigma Kappa was truly an answered prayer. Serving as Vice President of Learning & Development has been such an honor and has made me love this chapter even more because I get to see behind the scenes how much Sigma pours into each and every girl, not just socially, but academically and in who we’re becoming. Being surrounded by girls who care about their goals, their grades, and their growth pushes me every day to stay disciplined and keep becoming better. Whether it’s late nights together or celebrating the small wins, it’s so special to be in a place where girls truly want to see you succeed. From the moment I stepped into Sigma Kappa, I felt at home. These are the friends I prayed for, and they’ve made me more confident, a better leader, a harder worker, and a better friend. I know that when I walk out those doors, they have my back just as I have theirs. This role has shown me how important it is to have a support system that holds you accountable and truly wants to see you thrive and Sigma is exactly that. I believe God placed me in this position and in this chapter for a reason, and I cannot imagine my life without this chapter. Going Sigma Kappa has been one of the biggest blessings of my life, and I know it can be for you too!!💜”- Sara

Major: Mechanical Engineering

“I have been so blessed to serve the girls, and my best friends, in Sigma Kappa as Vice President of Internal Operations this year! The second I joined Sigma Kappa, I was surrounded by women who only wanted to see me succeed. Women encouraging me to grow, pushing me to be a leader, and inspiring me to serve with a servant minded heart. Being a freshman and serving as chaplain had truly opened my eyes to just how loving, encouraging, and driven then women of Sigma Kappa are, and it inspired me to be better; to lead with the fruits of the spirit and to be that encouraging person for them! I’m so grateful to be here and even more grateful that I get to serve this chapter!”- Mia

“Sigma Kappa has truly shaped me into the person I am now over the past 2 years. These girls have given me the confidence and support to do things I never would’ve thought I’d be doing. Having the opportunity to serve as Panhellenic Delegate has been one of the biggest blessings. Getting to show Sigma Kappa’s love to the other houses and seeing the love from theirs has been so special!! I am over the moon to meet the PNMs at the door and cannot wait for them to feel the same love for Sigma Kappa I do every single day!! 🤍🤍”- Kate

“Going into recruitment as a sophomore was terrifying, to say the least. I’ve always been very introverted, and I had no idea how I was going to hold conversations with so many new people. But going through recruitment helped me discover an extroverted side of myself that I never even knew existed. From the moment I walked into Sigma Kappa, I felt at home. Every girl I talked to made me feel like I had known them my whole life, and deep down, I knew that was where I belonged. Getting to run home to my best friend will forever be my Sigma Kappa moment. I was surrounded by so much love, along with countless new sisters and memories waiting to be made. My sisters continuously pushed me to step outside of my comfort zone and do things I never thought I could accomplish on my own. During my first year in the house, I ran for an assistant position and gained so much experience, which ultimately gave me the confidence to serve as Vice President of Event Management. Of course, part of me wishes I had gone through recruitment sooner so I could have had even more time with my sisters. But no story is linear, and there’s no single “right path.” My journey has made me appreciate the blessing Sigma Kappa has been in my life even more.”- Kiera
