Some look at this stuff as the bottom of the barrel of the bullion world. I'd argue that's one of the reasons they are great. They are handled and hoarded like pirate treasure. And the various designs they come in are vast. I'm a fan.

This newspaper article in March 1933 is when they tricked everyone to turn in their Gold.

A month later they banned Gold and Silver bullion ownership for 40 years to ensure it was all taken out of circulation.

$300mm worth of Gold then equals $61bn today.

They went on to trick everyone into a make believe fiat currency. Which goes directly against our constitution.

Haters and kool-aid drinkers will repeat state lies saying it's backed by the "full faith of the U.S. government." Disregarding what money is. A physical, hard asset. For millenia prior, that was Gold and Silver.
