So lucky that I get to share these magical islands with my people. Some incredible contrasts abound, and not everything is smooth and perfect—but that might be the very best part. You may stand marveling at how both the pitch lake AND so many damn potholes can possibly exist in the same land, or at the music of the bamboo overhead that makes you hold your breath for a moment as you take a lil walk in the bush. Either way, I hope you protect your sense of wonder throughout your life, and encourage more of it in as many people as you can. Because wonder really is the beginning of wisdom. Also glad they have witnessed that we know how to fete through our friction!

A few glimpses of our Misaki earrings in the works. They involve quite a bit of cutting, hammering, filing, sanding and cursing under one's breath, and have an abundance of joints and layers to solder. Lucky to have a team of goddesses in our little studio who work so lovingly to create these magical little worlds and stories. And put up with me in general.
