UPDATE: thanks to the amazing generosity from the community (and beyond!), Madstyle Vintage has been saved and, according to Tyler, “the best is yet to come” 🥹🙏🏼❤️❤️ THANK Y’ALL SO MUCH!!
We’re not active on this page other than posting our upcoming Christmas and Valentine’s events (in order to sell off our remaining inventory), but we felt this was important enough to share here.
Mr. Tyler of Madstyle Vintage has been a wonderful asset to our community, specifically to downtown San Angelo commerce. I knew Miss Marti of Martiques back when she had her own antique store in the same building and she would often speak of Tyler with much respect and admiration. She went on to close her business and sell the building to him where he has since continued to lead a wonderful business of his own that many of us now enjoy. In fact, as I look down, I just now noticed that I’m wearing a shirt I bought from Madstyle last summer! I love it and get a lot of compliments on it 🥰
Anyway, I just wanted to share this if you felt led in your heart to help him out. Times are tough right now for so many and I just would hate to see this fine young man and his thriving business right here in our own town die out and fade away as so many other businesses have in recent years.
Thank you so much for considering helping Tyler and his business during this difficult time.
From his page:
“Tyler has built Madstyle into a meaningful part of the community over more than 13 years. People even make a point of stopping by when they’re in town, which says a lot about what this small business means to them. 🧡
Lately, unexpected problems have made it hard for Tyler to keep up, including the air conditioner going out and water leaking through a brick wall. The fundraiser is already 78.5% of the way to its goal, and support will help him catch up, avoid defaulting on his contract, and hold on to the building and everything he’s invested in, including his 401(k) and property equity.
Thank you to the 54 people who’ve already helped. If you can help Madstyle reach the finish line, visit the GoFundMe page to donate or share it. ”
