Oxidation refers to the blackening of a piece. All pieces will naturally oxidize over time, under the right conditions.

Jewelers use a chemical compound, liver of sulphur, to achieve the effect. It smells exactly how it sounds.

My designs contain a lot of depth. Oxidizing, followed by polishing of chosen areas, make the details pop. 💥
