It’s been very quiet over here at Unearth. At a time when my garage would normally be making lots of noise and my hands busy forging new pieces, Nate and I travelled to a place I’ve been dreaming about my entire life. And It did not disappoint!
8,000-ish miles from home, and somehow the things I’ll remember most from South Africa are the colors of the earth, weathered textures, music unlike anything I’ve heard before, a rainbow of kind people, unexpected conversations, and animals that seem almost too strange and wonderful to be real.
I came home with photographs, precious memories, a full heart, and a very full visual library for whatever comes next. 🤍
