The FUN show in Orlando and San Diego's Winter Coinarama were excellent shows for us and all the other dealers we spoke with agreed in their cases as well.

Our next show will be the reopened Long Beach Expo, February 18-20 - Wednesday through Friday, no Saturday this time. Stacks Bowers acquired the expo and this initial show will be a smaller one. But it appears to be all coins and many great dealers. (The website bourse map and dealer listings have not been updated for this show, at least not yet.)

We will be set up at a center corner, booth 423. we plan to offer many early American coins, particularly Flowing Hair and Bust dollars, and some very nice Saint Gaudens $20 gold in excellent grades. Might bring some Daniel Carr inventory too.

All set up at the Las Vegas National Coin Show. Only doing four shows after this: PNNA Portland (Nov), FUN Orlando (Jan), Winter Coinarama San Diego (Feb), and Buena Park (Mar).

Largest offerings of Flowing Hair Dollars, Bust Dollars, Trade Dollars, and Daniel Carr products anywhere. Many key rarities, some available only once in a generation. If you are a collector in Las Vegas, stop by my booth (Select Rarities) at the back corner of the bourse.

Willamette CC Annual : Nov 16-18, Portland, OR

We will miss the Fall shows in Tukwila and Baltimore. The calendar was just too heavy to squeeze them in. Good shows for us too.

Recommendations? Buena Park is a good show if you are in the SoCal area and is now THE show for the region now that the Long Beach show has ceased. The GACCS show is expected to be a very good one. The Rosemont location is where the ANA World's Fair of Money has been many times and is a favorite among dealers and collectors. This show has the biggest US dealers well represented. If you are looking for those better dates or condition rarities, this is an excellent one for you to potentially locate them. We always like the Denver Expo. It is not a huge show, but (like Tukwila) is a pretty good sized one for a medium regional show and often has fresh material from dealers who don't often set up at the huge national shows.

Our next major show is Central States (CSNS) in Schaumberg, IL, April 23rd-26th. Booths 1503-1504. Turn right from the entrance and we are 3 tables in on aisle 15. The Denver show follows that in a week.

Thanks to everyone who came by our booth at the Long Beach Expo. It was a great show and there were a lot of good conversations at the tables.

Our next one is the Central States (CSNS) show in Schaumberg, IL in April (4/24-26), We have not done that one in years and look forward to it. It looks like we will be skipping the PNNA show in Tukwila this time, because it is too close the CSNS.

Following Central States, we will be at the San Diego Coinarama (7/12-13) and the ANA World's Fair of Money in Oklahoma City (8/19-23).

Come see us at the FINAL Long Beach Expo, 20-22 February 2025, Booth 738. We specialize in US Silver Dollar Die Varieties. At this show will be an unprecedented opportunity to acquire rare early dollars, nearly every Flowing Hair and Draped Bust die variety and die state, hundreds of them -- all certified. Additionally, many Trade Dollars by die variety offered by the author of the books on them. Probably the most extensive offering of Daniel Carr products as well.

We had a fantastic show at the Florida United Numismatists (FUN) show earlier this month in Orlando and a good one too at the First Winter San Diego Coinarama this past weekend.

The Long Beach Expo is 3 weeks away. As typical, we have a corner booth in the center of the bourse (where the arrow points). This should should have a good supply of Bust dollar varieties, Trade dollar varieties (a few books left too), Morgan VAMs, and a lot of Dan Carr pieces.

Among the Carr selections are the commissioned Society of Silver Dollar Collectors (SSDC) 30th Anniversary medals. There were two interesting designs. The first is a Morgan dollar obverse that features design elements from several Morgan VAMs - Hot Lips and Scarface being most notable. They are struck over genuine Morgan dollar coins. The other is a similar Peace dollar design using several different popular Peace VAM elements, struck on Peace dollars. Only about 100 were struck of each and profits support the SSDC.

We are at the Long Beach show this week at booth 538, two forward-facing corners in the middle of the bourse. Public days are Thu-Sat. Will be selling the Trade Challenge 50 book, in advance of the complete catalogue of Trade dollar die varieties, which should be available at the Pittsburgh ANA show in August.
