My schedule’s been bananas lately 🫩 but through it I’ve been wear testing Milan cord options to go with my new pendant that’s a scribble-like infinity ditty.⁠

Based on your comments, it seems like the blue, olive and black cords are most popular from the limited batch I’ve tried. If you have ideas for other color cords lmk and I can order to preview.⁠

I’ll also likely offer a chain option, and so far, I’ve liked diamond-cut cable chain the best.⁠

Once my schedule settles down and I finalize the options for this pendant, I’ll let you guys know a launch date. 🚀⁠

My scrunchie-inspired cuff bracelet ✨️〰️⁠

The Scrunchie Cuff is still the hardest piece I’ve made. Slide 3 shows my wax-carved prototype ~ I made this one early on in my jewelry journey, and I remember how sketching the piece out on paper wasn’t too helpful in sitting down to carve it.⁠

Because this one is so dimensional and irregular from different angles, there was a lot of trial and error in the carving stage. I took it one cinch/segment at a time and eventually found a rhythm. I identified where elements should be repeated (like the concave grooves, though in different sizes) and how to make each cinch slightly different like a real scrunchie.⁠

I love how it looks on (gorg on the gorg julia 🐥 on slide 2) and it’s one of the favorite sculptural jewelry picks for editorial pulls.

Had fun with this one ~ I always love styling the pieces on stunning friends and it’d been a minute! Sydney Chen and I both juggle full-time careers and our creative pursuits, and we were also trying to catch Vanessa Le for one last collab before she moved back to the West Coast. A late summer eve was when we could align, which somehow turned into the idea itself 🎞️⁠

This one’s a little ode to that oft-begrudged subway commute 🚇 ~ but when the ‘fit is a vibe, even the grungiest and most tedious parts of NY can feel a little more elevated, if only for a few moments 🖤

Not the final chain choice, but directionally there? ⛓️‍💥

Excited to finalize my new design ~ the metal model shown here is just about ready for molding (after a bit more smoothing-out of my imperfect filings in the small spaces).

Alexia Wong suggested rope chain for this pendant which I love! The sample shown here is a bit too thick, so I ordered a thinner version that I’ll try next. Imagining the same chain but thinner, what do you think?

I think the pendant will look good at different lengths. For me, I’m feeling like it could look nice high near the collar bones, or much lower at the sternum.

Will share how the polished sterling and brass castings come out, and how they look with thinner rope chain.
