The Final Boss of the 5-Digit Era. 🏔️
​We don’t use the word "Unicorn" lightly, but this 2011 Rolex Explorer II (Ref. 16570) is exactly that. This isn't just a Polar dial—it’s a Scrambled Serial.
​For the uninitiated: Finding a random serial number on a 16570 is the horological equivalent of a needle in a haystack. It marks the absolute final production run before Rolex switched to the 42mm case. It features the engraved rehaut and the upgraded Caliber 3186 movement (tested and confirmed), all while retaining the classic 40mm proportions collectors miss today.
​Freshly serviced and polished by Rolex (RSC) last year. It looks factory fresh and runs perfectly.

This is the Rolex Datejust 31 (Ref. 178343) featuring the exquisite "Scattered Diamond" bezel.
​Unlike the standard fluted or full-set diamond bezels, this rare variant features a polished 18k yellow gold domed bezel with 12 diamonds set artistically around the ring. It gives the watch a unique "stardust" or celestial look that is much more subtle and fluid than a traditional diamond bezel.

​I’m letting go of this 2011 Rolex Explorer II "Polar." For the watch nerds out there, this is the one to have—it’s the "transitional" model. It keeps the classic 40mm size but has the modern upgrades (engraved rehaut/solid links) they stopped making right after this year.
