Anabel Higgins Jewelry Anabel Higgins Jewelry was founded by Annie Higgins during her recovery from breast cancer. Many are embellished with diamonds giving them a modern twist.

As her line began to evolve, she found a passion for shaping beautiful pieces to express a woman's unique sense of style. The jewelry is fabricated in Los Angeles, each piece crafted in 18K Gold and/or Fine Silver (999). Customers are encouraged to add their monogram, a special date or personal message on each piece to make it their own. Beauty and love is inherent in things well made!

Happy May Day!

The 1st of May represents renewal, growth and Spring. Depicted is a corner of my Riverside, California kitchen with a homage to blue and white and Le Muguet flowers from Le Cabinet de Porcelaine in Paris.

The chest is from the Bunny Mellon auction and the dog tile portrait is a Mario Buatta piece. Yes.. auctions are very dangerous for a collector!

I feel bad. It’s 80 degrees Fahrenheit in Pasadena, California and it’s definitely not so luscious in the rest of the Country. Pre-Thanksgiving modeling for last year! So much fun working with the darling owner of Pearls in San Marino, Lauri Wax.

Modeling was much harder than it looks.. you need to be relaxed and not self conscious.. I was nervous and stiff. Oh well.. it’s always good to learn new things, right?

How are you going to celebrate Thanksgiving this year? We are in a rental Flat that is super cosy. The kitchen is a bit tricky so most of the cooking will be done by our adult Son in his own kitchen. Should still work (hopefully)! It’s being together that counts anyhow.
