Starting off as a hobby, Her pieces are popular and have been featured in local Santa Cruz galleries and art shows. As a native of India, Himani’s cultural upbringing adds a unique aesthetic to her jewelry. "There is always a level of excitement when I am sitting down to create something new. Even if I repeat a pattern it is never a carbon copy of what I made the last time. Each piece is unique. M

y hope for the piece is that it is eye-catching and something enjoyable for the purchaser to wear or gift because it invites positive comments. My Indian background influences my work significantly. It’s that time of year again! I can’t wait to have you visit my studio for Open Studios Sat & Sun October 4-5, and the weekend of October 18-19.

Additionally, please come to the Artist Reception on Sunday, September 28 from 1-4pm at the (526 Broadway). The earrings above will be available for purchase. If you cannot make it that day, don’t worry, the exhibit will be open to the public from September 26-October 19, Wed-Sun 12-5 pm.
