Santa Fe Silverworks by Gregory Segura Santa Fe Silverworks is a collection of beautiful, unique and exquisitely handcrafted sterling silve He had served in the U.S. No two pieces are identical.

Award-winning artist and Santa Fe native Gregory Segura started perfecting his silversmithing skills in the 1990s. Air Force and worked as a hotel manager, financial planner, and sales manager, but he was looking for a new, more creative career path. Although he had taken a metalworking class in the 1980s, Greg’s expertise with silver is largely self-taught. “Working with silver just comes naturally to me,” he admits. “Sculpting, painting, and carving do not come to me with the ease and understanding I feel in working with silver and stones. I guess you could say I was born with a silver spoon (I made) in my mouth.”

Greg’s work reflects his Spanish and Native American heritage. For each of his original designs, he draws on the legacy of New Mexico’s master silversmiths as well as rich culture and natural beauty of the region. His work encompasses a wide range of diverse designs, from traditional to contemporary. Greg crafts his pieces by hand from heavy gauge sterling silver. Since launching Santa Fe Silverworks in 2008, he has attracted a loyal following for his attention to quality, detail, and the inherent beauty of his materials. In 2010, he received the E. Boyd Memorial Award for Originality and Expressive Design at Santa Fe’s annual Traditional Spanish Market. His piece Corazón de Santa Fe won second place in the market’s precious metals category. Gregory was then awarded Blue Ribbon First Place in Precious Metals for his 75ct Ruby Sacred Heart Rosary at the 2013 Spanish Market. You can also find some of Greg's work in Robert Redford's Sundance Catalogs. Please enjoy browsing SantaFeSilverworks.com. Every piece you choose was created from the heart and soul of Santa Fe.

Two years ago I formed a partnership with Donald Lanzer when I found this amazing space we are in. He brought along a very talented yet very shy young lady that had been working with him for three years. I quickly learned she was more than his assistant. Caitlin is much more than his right hand. I believe she is Donald’s actual brain, at least the left side.

I know it’s a bit of hard times for most of you, but imagine the weight of this whole situation along with battling cancer. I think we can all afford to put forward kindness, compassion and words of encouragement that cost us nothing and a couple bucks to go along with that, well that would be great.

Please consider a donation. Thank you in advance.
