Some people come into your life for a season.
And then there are the rare souls who walk beside you through the chapters of your life — quietly, faithfully, lovingly — never asking for recognition, only showing up again and again with grace.

For more than 36 years, Iris has been that kind of soul in my life.

She has been far more than my attorney or confidante. She has been a sister, a friend, a counselor, a protector, and at times, the steady hand helping guide me through some of the most important moments of my life and career.

There are very few people in this lifetime who are truly gifts from God. Iris, you and Lilo have been two of the greatest gifts in my life.

Thank you for every phone call answered, every moment of honesty, every ounce of love, loyalty, and care you’ve given me through the years.

I love you both very much.

🐰What a beautiful Easter it was. Having my nephew and his wife, my great-nieces and nephews, Mom, Aunt Luella, Aunt Delma, and my cousin Lucille here at my home made the day so special.

Seeing the children enjoy the Easter egg hunt brought me so much joy. It was such a blessing to work with my friend Lauren, the gardeners, and everyone who helped make the decorations and the day feel so magical for the kids.

This Easter gave me a chance to set so much aside, to breathe, to focus on family, and to thank God for all He has given me. It also made me reflect on this being my first spring in 31 years without designing a spring collection. I do miss it, but I’m grateful for the pause, for the peace, and for the precious gift of being present with the people I love.

Wishing all my wonderful customers a beautiful Easter and a joyful spring. May your homes be filled with love, your hearts with peace, and may the desires of your heart bloom beautifully in the season ahead.
