At our Meet the Maker event, four of our designers each picked a stone that spoke to them from Nadine's newly cut collection of Montana sapphires. Then they sketched a ring concept inspired by that gem.

October is Opal Month, and we're celebrating with two stunning pieces from Alex Sepkus. The Black Opal Jane Ring and the Boulder Opal Sticks & Stones Pendant show just how different opals can be: one deep and dark with electric flashes of color, the other framed by its natural ironstone matrix. Paired with Sepkus' signature hand-carved detail, each is truly one of a kind. Opals are said to symbolize hope and creativity, and these two definitely inspire us.

Thank you to everyone who came out to Meet the Maker and spent the evening with us. We’re so grateful we got to share it with you.

From Brant walking you through how we source our Montana sapphires, to our lapidary Nadine taking you through her process of turning rough stones into finished gems, to getting to know our designers and seeing the sketches they made inspired by Nadine’s cuts, it was a night of craft, creativity, and connection.

We can’t wait to do it again. ✨
