Meet Jaime Loucky, Executive Director of the Washington Trails Association, at our club luncheon on Tuesday, Oct. 20. The Washington Trails Association is the nation’s largest state-based hiking nonprofit, mobilizing thousands of volunteers annually to maintain public trails and protect outdoor access for everyone. Their mission: To connect everyone to the outdoors and build a community that gives back to trails and public lands. Join us!

Not a member? Visitors and guests are welcome with advance registration. E-mail [email protected] by noon on Sunday if interested in attending. If you wish to be considered for membership, lunch is complimentary; otherwise the cost is $30.

Longtime and well-known Rotarian Cathy Gibson is now a member of the Rotary Club of West Seattle! On Tuesday, Cathy gave a classification talk that was enlightening and inspirational. Cathy served as Seattle 4 President in 2016-2017 and District 5030 Governor in 2020-2021. And that's just part of her story! Thank you for your , Cathy. We're so glad your story continues with the West Seattle club!

Rotarians (men plus women with men in their households), time to part with gently-used clothing to benefit the West Seattle Clothesline, a program of the West Seattle Food Bank. The Clothesline is located at 5444 Delridge Way SW. Donation hours are Tuesdays, Thursdays & Saturdays – 10am-1pm. 👖👕👔🧦🩳🧢♻️

The West Seattle Clothesline needs men's clothing of all types and sizes. Pants, shirts, jackets, sweaters, and shoes, as well as new socks and underwear are in high need right now. We are also starting to need winter clothes, including coats, scarves, gloves, hats, and other cold-weather items.

Drop off items at the Clothesline (5444 Delridge Way SW, Seattle, 98106) directly on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays from 10am-1pm.

And at the West Seattle Food Bank (3419 SW Morgan St., Seattle, 98126) on Monday-Friday from 9am-3pm, and until 7pm on Wednesdays.
