Sitting at my desk just reacquainting myself with available talismans. This is the Transformation Heart Talisman. With a celebration of a Sunstone, a faux cat skull and two faux teeth all nestled above a heart.

My own journey is revisiting transformation all of the time. Especially now. Especially with a C diagnosis and all that comes with it.

Listen to the little nudges toward joy. A flower that catches your eye, the coolest stick on the sidewalk, a moment in a hot shower. Whatever it is, lean into it. That may be the most important thing.

Hello witches and magical beings,

This talisman was shipped out a little while back. It was certainly a special one and I am so grateful it got a loving home.

Today I head to my first oncology appointments.

Hello witches and friends,

It’s been two weeks since my surgery and I am taking things slow and careful. The outpouring of support through orders and my GoF🕯️ndMe has been incredibly encouraging and helpful. Thank you for being here.

Tomorrow I get my stitches out and next week I meet with my oncology team. Lots of unknowns still. Lots of moving parts. My mom has been here and my sister comes next week. With them and my partner and friends this has been much less daunting than it would be.

Keep up with your people and check on them. Life is wild but a support system makes it more than bearable. I know it can feel so isolating to be alive today. Do what you can to connect with people. Start a hobby, join a club (be careful of cults), try something new 🖤
