“Excuse me. That wouldn’t happen to be Rocky Road, now, would it?”. We just listed two new ‘flavors’ on our eBay 🎊
It may not be Eugene’s Rocky Road, but you can still get ice cream from the show! We have here 2 scoops of prop ice cream, 2 paper hats and 2 COAs. The ice cream, we discovered in a box labeled prop, that contained multiple scoops of ice cream (and a silver spoon). The hats were part of a box containing multiple of them, from the wardrobe room portion of the original 2022 Production estate sale; so they appear to be backups of the hat Elaine (ice cream worker) wears.
Elaine can be seen in two episodes wearing this style hat. She first is seen in Commonwealth Welcome video in Season 11 Episode 5. Later, you’ll see her again serving ice cream to Stephanie/Max. In the show, you can tell production used both real and prop ice cream in various scenes. There’s a scene where Eugene gets ice cream and waits for Stephanie to arrive. As he waits, he sees a couple walk past with bowls, so it appears they also served sundays/splits too.
Kinda fun how some prop ice cream makes you notice things more! For anyone wanting a small and unique piece from the show, this is definitely it!! If you recall our last auction of ice cream, that was mint and raspberry. We wanted to offer the other two ‘flavors’ on this round.
