Last day here…. Bitter sweet but I’m ready to head home. I have a little shopping this morning, one last mindless class I’m kind of excited about then I’ll take off and see how far I get. Long post but this is as much a personal discovery trip as it is a business trip and im just feeling so blessed and thankful right now.
I’m extremely grateful to my husband for allowing me to journey here for 9 days total by the time I drive. He supports me and all my free spirited, Gypsyness unconditionally and I couldn’t do life or this without him.
I’ve met some incredible people this week, new vendors which I’ve exchanged numbers with. I also had some crazy coincidences of meeting an owner of a favorite boutique I buy from twice, the owner of a company Ive bought supplies from and taken classes with, and another instructor I took a lot of classes from two years ago. And trust me- this town and Gem show is HUGE!! We took the time to talk life, God, and business and it was really just cool. Women supporting women- we are all the same at the end of the day regardless of what hustle we are doing.
I will have 22 hours to reflect on the week, the future, and all things life, God, and business. It’s actually refreshing if not a little boring through Kansas.
I’m going to share a book with you all I recently read and it has changed my life since January. I struggle with prayer- I can’t focus, I think it should be elaborate, the hows, the whys, the selfishness of asking for things… I could go on. This book nails it!! Pick it up if you get a chance!!❤️ I’ve shared it with others this week as well as we met and chatted about the ups and downs of life. Guess there was a reason I decided last minute to go and why I read this book before I got here.
Bless you all!! I can’t wait to share my finds with you and be expecting an open house in March so I can open the doors all at once with a face lift of my humble little shop (that still has Christmas up😆)
My shirt says “Live a Great Story.” I threw it in last minute just in case without thinking about it and saved it until the end when I was down to my last clean shirt and it was inside out. How fitting!! I have a lot of stories to tell from this week!❤️❤️❤️
