It is with the heaviest of hearts that I must inform this great automotive community of Floyd’s passing. Our patriarch, the man, the myth, the legend, Floyd passed away at 92 years surrounded by his loving family.
For those who were able to take time and visit him in his final days, thank you. For a man who is cemented in many of our good memories, your visits were a gift to him in his final days. He was joking, laughing, and smiling his sinister grin to his very end. Floyd was a great friend to many and was always willing to “help a guy out”. As we carry on his legacy here at FLAP, we are grateful for our time with him, and I will always think of him when I make bacon and pancakes. 😊 He was a mentor to many and a friend to all.
