I'm just coming back from Philadelphia where I had a meeting with the General Manager of One Village Coffee! (Check them out @ onevillagecoffee.com).

They are a very cool coffee roaster that is doing cool social projects with coffee plantations in Nigeria. They are one of the first registered Benefit Corporations (bcorporation.net).. the name they are starting to give us social enterprises.

So One Village Coffee has agreed to help out Cambio Co.! Our first batch of delicious Bolivian coffee should be arriving to DC in about a month. One Village has agreed to teach me some skills as a coffee roaster and help experiment with my coffee to create 3 awesome blends!

Cambio Co. recently applied to participate in Startup Highway--an incubator located in Vilnius, Lithuania where I could spend 3 months working on launching Cambio Coffee with incubator space, a bit of start up capital, and the mentorship of investors and entrepreneurs from all across Europe!

The catch is that they want 10% of the company, which at this stage I would be willing to give up for the network and opportunity to work on this venture full-time.

Cambio Co. applied on August 15th, and I'm still waiting for their email to schedule an interview! The kick-off in Lithuania starts on September 15th, and it seems they are accepting only a few of the many applicants.

Should I be worried?

Help me pressure these guys to ACCEPT ME!
