Style with Purpose. Changing lives one artisan at a time. Vi Bella means "Beautiful Life". Our artisans and their communities are the reason we exist.

We employ artisans in four centers, providing training, income, support, and community for more than 30 artisans. Every handmade jewelry and accessory piece is designed at our home office in Sioux Center, Iowa. Materials and kits are then sent to our centers in Haiti and Mexico for completion. In addition to the employment we provide, we give back to each of the communities in which we serve. Here in Iowa, we employ several women to assist with production who have been referred to us by local agencies and are rebuilding their lives through their work at Vi Bella. There was a time when Eldie depended on her parents to help provide for her two children. Today, through her work with Vi Bella, she is able to support her children’s education and even give back to those who once supported her.

During founder Julie Hulstein’s recent visit to Haiti, Eldie and fellow artisans also learned new embroidery skills for our ornament production.
