The Mexican Shack Somers NY The Mexican Shack was established in 1975 as a "roadside stand" at the intersection of Route 35 & Route 100 in Somers, N.Y.

The original "Shack" was a 600 square foot store selling imported productions from Mexico and the Southwest and was a leading provider of Native American Indian Jewelry and Crafts to the Tri-State area. Having established a solid reputation, The Mexican Shack expanded into the fine jewelry market in 1985 and now has the finest and most diverse selection of 14K, 18K, and Platinum jewelry. Unique and affordable, we have it all!

Mary and I are so excited to be at Somers Towne Centre starting at 10 AM with The Mexican Shack. Come early to beat the crowds and grab a good parking spot!

Our daughter, Lauren, will be at our booth until 12 PM — stop by, say hello, and browse jewelry curated especially for you. Enjoy a day filled with music, food, activities, and the amazing community spirit that makes Somers so special.

It’s hard to believe it’s been 50 years since The Mexican Shack first opened as a roadside stand in 1975. While our storefront has closed and the building is starting a new chapter, our hearts are still right here in the Somers community. 💛
