Intentional Allay Designs

Intentional Allay Designs Welcome! I create custom natural gemstone jewelry to give the wearer a metaphysical boost! I am perpetually busy, as my ADHD doesn't allow me a lot of free time.

For some time, I've been learning of the metaphysical properties found in gemstones. I enjoy making jewelry that not only look pretty but may also provide healing properties to the wearer. I first made them for my family and friends for grief, ADHD, depression, anxiety, love, studying help, confidence, and more. I spent a long time learning the various healing properties, the strong partnerships,

the stones that don't mesh, etc. It has been such a joy learning the metaphysical properties that I decided to make them for others. On a personal note, I am a married mother of six kids and three fur babies. I am an investigator by trade, working as both an investigation supervisor full-time and a death investigator part-time. Because I work in intensive, sensitive situations that may be stressful, this little venture provides a way to work through the stressors in my life while hopefully others some positivity.

**Please note that I am not a medical professional. I'm just an enthusiast of what could be! All metaphysical or healing properties I've listed are collected from various sources. This information is offered as a service and not meant to treat medical conditions. Please see a healthcare professional for help if you have conditions that require such treatment.

☀️ Summer 2026 is officially here!

I’m excited to share my summer event schedule with you. From St. Cloud to Austin, Maple Grove to Appleton, I’ll be spending the next few months traveling with boxes of natural stone jewelry and meeting so many wonderful people along the way.

First up: 🍋 The Lemonade Concert & Art Fair this Thursday in St. Cloud! This will be my third year at Lemonade, and it’s one of my favorite events of the season. With hundreds of artists, live music, food vendors, and thousands of visitors, it’s the perfect way to kick off a summer full of art fairs and markets.

If you’re near St. Cloud, stop by and say hello. I’d love to see familiar faces, meet new friends, and help you find a piece that speaks to you.

📍 Check out the full summer schedule below and save it for later!

Which event will I see you at? 💛

One of my favorite parts of shipping orders is letting my kids help.

When they’re around while I’m packing orders, they often create custom artwork for the boxes. No two are ever the same, and each one is completely original.

Today’s artist was inspired by her current obsession: KATSEYE KATSEYE. ✨

This package is headed to one of my longtime customers who has supported my little business for years. I hope it brings an extra smile when it arrives.

Every package that leaves my studio is packed by hand, and sometimes it comes with a little extra creativity from the kids, too. I think that’s one of the perks of supporting a small business.

(And yes, Sam decorated a package today too, but it was sealed and shipped before I remembered to take a photo!)

Jewelry maker reality check:

Every time I open a new bead order, I’m surprised by how little it looks like for what I paid.

There are 42 strands of natural stone beads in this tray. Most strands make one necklace. A strand of round beads usually makes two bracelets.

This order cost $375.03 wholesale.

Natural turquoise, lapis lazuli, citrine, peridot, abalone, and more—beautiful materials, but definitely not inexpensive ones.

Could I buy cheaper beads? Sure. But finding suppliers I trust for genuine, consistently high-quality stones took years, and that’s not something I’m willing to compromise on.

Every piece I make starts right here.

🌈 Meet the Stone: Rainbow Fluorite

Rainbow Fluorite is known for its beautiful bands of purple, green, blue, yellow, and clear crystal. No two pieces are exactly alike, making each one a unique expression of nature’s creativity.

Associated with clarity, balance, and authentic self-expression, Rainbow Fluorite reminds us that our differences are part of what makes us beautiful.

Find clarity. Choose authenticity. Let yourself shine.

💜 See me and my Rainbow Fluorite creations at Valley-Wide Pride on Saturday, June 20, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. at Lakefront Park in Hudson, Wisconsin. I’ll have bracelets, pendants, earrings, and more available throughout the day.

Which variation of Rainbow Fluorite is your favorite?

☀️ Meet the Stone: Citrine

I love Citrine.

Partly because it’s beautiful (obviously), but also because it’s one of those stones that feels warm before you even put it on. The colors range from soft yellow to deep honey gold, and every piece seems to catch light a little differently.

One thing I learned while putting this together is that Citrine comes in more varieties than most people realize. Some form naturally, some are heat-treated, and the colors can range from pale champagne tones all the way to rich amber and orange-brown shades. Like most things in the stone world, the story is more interesting than it first appears.

When I work with Citrine, I’m usually creating pieces centered around confidence, creativity, motivation, and moving forward. Not in a loud “change your life overnight” kind of way. More like a quiet reminder to trust yourself and keep going.

And because I’m a stone nerd, I couldn’t resist sharing a little bit of the geology, history, and lore behind it, too.

Swipe through and let me know: Are you drawn to the lighter champagne Citrines or the deeper golden and amber tones? ✨

Meet the Stone: Fossil ✨

Fossils feel different—and I think it’s because they are.

These aren’t just stones.
They were once living things… slowly transformed over time into something that lasts.

There’s something about that that stops me every time.

Not in a big, dramatic way—just a quiet reminder that change doesn’t erase where you’ve been. It carries it forward.

Fossils aren’t about urgency or pushing forward fast.
They’re about time. Patience. Endurance.

The kind of energy that says—you don’t have to rush becoming who you are.

I use fossils in pieces meant for grounding, reflection, and moving through change without losing yourself in it.

I honor where I’ve been and trust what I’m becoming.

If you’ve been in a season of change… this one might feel familiar.
