In July I set out to make 100 ceramic bowls for the first annual Full Bowls Fundraiser, Community Meal, and Pottery Sale on November 4th.

Progress was slow initially, my own hesitation around my trimming abilities and the time and physical commitment heavy on my mind.

Little by little, over the weeks and months, I began to throw in batches. Some bowls collapsed on the wheel, other broke at various stages in the process. Experimenting with 5 separate clay bodies and various glaze combinations.

Today 102 are complete. With a few more in progress. My abilities have developed significantly and processing time reduced. May they fill many people ✨❤️✨

NEK Musicians!

We are looking for an solo artist or small group (or two, or three) to play Full Bowls: A Community Meal, Fundraiser & Pottery Sale, November 4th from 11-2!!!

You could play for a short set, or for a couple hours. Whatever works for you. It is an opportunity to serve our community by providing entertainment and musical magic over artful stoneware bowls and yummy warming soups.

What will you get out of it?

Looking for a large serving bowl to make a statement on your table, or maybe a set of mugs? We’ll make you custom work of your choosing to show our gratitude for you sharing your talents.
