Custom Sunday.

Sometimes it starts with the setting.

This one was already in our showroom. The right stone found its home and suddenly it became something completely its own.

2.55 carats. Lab grown radiant cut. Yellow gold. Two pear diamonds that curve around the center like they were always supposed to be there.

That's the thing about custom. It doesn't always mean starting from scratch.

Some rings look like they were made last year. This one looks like it was made for someone specific a long time ago and found its way here.

Three round brilliant diamonds set in 14k white gold. Pavé twist shoulders. A scalloped halo with milgrain detailing that you simply don't see in modern settings anymore.

The good news is a broken clasp is one of the quickest repairs we do. Bring it in and we'll have it back on your neck before you've had time to miss it.

We have to warn you. This one tricks almost everyone.

Princess cuts face up smaller than rounds at the same carat weight. That's because more of the diamond's weight lives in the depth rather than the surface. Which means your first instinct is probably lower than the actual number.

The ring wouldn't come off. So we cut it. And once it was off we asked her what she wanted to do with it.

She wasn't ready to let the stones go. So we built her something she could wear every single day.

The original diamonds and sapphires reset into a new marquise setting in white gold. Same stones. Completely different life.

This is what repair and redesign actually looks like at Austin's. Not just fixing something. Building something better from what was already there.
