I watched my daughter stop everything… to rescue an injured moth.

So gentle. So intentional.

I just stood there, taking it in.

Who she is—right now—is so beautiful.
And who she’s becoming… is something even more.

Later that night, I went to pick her up—
and realized I couldn’t carry her the same way anymore.

It felt like it happened all at once.

No one talks about how pets grieve too.

When our older dog, Maizy, passed, Serenity felt the loss in her own way.
The house was quieter. The routine changed.

And it took time for her to find a new rhythm again.

Even now, two years later, she still knows her name.
She reacts when we say it… like she remembers.

So I made this pendant for her—to keep Maizy close.

The first time she smelled it, she sat down right beside me.

Calm. Still.
Like she understood.

Like she knew a piece of her was still here.

Our pets love deeply.

And they remember, too. 🩵🐾
