OK, everyone, here’s a little bit of education for those of you that buy my product. As you know, I am very particular about the gemstones and authentic Sea Glass that I use in my items. I have very high standards for the product I use because I refuse to send a subpar product to my customers.

Recently, I ordered some black opal beads on Etsy. I normally do not purchase Beads online, because pictures and colors can be altered and it is hard to know exactly what you will get.

I needed black opal beads in particular for a custom order that I was commissioned to do. Today I received the Beads, a week late and it was not what was pictured. The first picture is what I received. The second picture is what I was supposed to receive. As you can see, those items are very, very different.

I have now had to request a refund, I will have to send these Beads back and hope that the seller actually follows through with getting me my money back. Because they are attempting to claim that this is the same product that I ordered and anyone that has eyes and can see, can see that these two things are not the same.

Thank you all for being part of my jewelry making journey. I hope this helps explain why my standards are so high and why I only buy Beads in person and not online.
