Work Is Love Made Visible

It all started when I was making too many bracelets to give away or wear myself. I had a problem: I needed to create. It is in my blood. But I also needed to find someone who could love, use, and appreciate what I make. And thus, Philosophias was born. It wasn't meant to be a business. It was just a creative outlet... at least in the beginning. But soon after starting, my drive took over and I began tirelessly working to develop Philosophias into what it is today. Almost 4 years after I began my little hobby shop it has turned into one of the most important aspects of my life. I absolutely love it. I get to use my creativity, drive, love for natural materials, and compassion for others at once - and I get to call it a job. A little About Me: I have been a yoga instructor since July 2014. In December 2017, I completed a graduate degree in Professional Counseling. In January 2018, I packed a backpack and left home on a one-way ticket to Southeast Asia. As of November 2019, I am now back in Saint Louis, Missouri, where I plan to grow as a therapist, coach, and handmade artist. I live for experiences and take every chance I get to educate myself, help the planet, travel, and do good for others... even if it means foregoing many of the comforts I grew up with. I live to love, I love to learn, and I learn to thrive. Thank you so much for supporting me and my passions. I am thankful for each and every one of you.
