The gold, up close. ✨

This is Keum-Boo — an ancient technique where pure 24K gold is fused to sterling silver using heat and pressure alone, no solder. What's left behind is this: gold that looks less applied than grown, catching the light like a seam of warmth in the dark metal.

It's slow, exacting work, and every piece comes out a little different. That's part of what makes it worth doing by hand.

Where the gold goes on. ✨

Before the shine, there's the setup: sheets of 24K gold leaf, hand-cut and laid piece by piece over the silver. Then comes the slow part — burnishing it in with heat and pressure until it fuses, no solder involved.

It's quiet, exacting work. Every branch gets its own pass.

Faceted black spinel sits dark against the skin, grounding you. Silver branches catch the light as you move. Flashes of 24K gold, fused in through the ancient Keum-Boo technique, feel like something found — sunlight through branches, warmth in the dark.

Composed, but wild and organic.

Sterling silver, lost-wax cast, with 24K gold Keum-Boo accents and faceted black spinel beads. S-hook closure. Handmade — slight variations are part of its character.
