The spirit of more ✨🍂 The year of the horse has burned brightly, pushed me in ways I couldn’t imagine and brought movement, clarity, freedom, energy, and forward movement. But it’s not all been without loss. It’s been a push, a leap of faith, of trust of the instincts, the first answer that pops into your heart. Are you still doing the jewelry? It’s a question I get often in real life as I’ve switched my “full time” income to freelance marketing. ABSOLUTELY, and I’m lowkey happier than ever. For years in my 20s I chased “success” in my jewelry business. More revenue, more sales, a team, a party to celebrate, an office, multiple content channels, thousands of pieces being made and shipped. And while all of that was incredibly fun, fulfilling, and a dream in and of itself this new season of life looks a little bit different.

These days it looks like a cup of tea in the office making custom jewels. It looks like being intentional with what pieces I make and letting go of revenue goals. It looks like hopefully vending one day (I miss you all!). It looks like creating one of a kind pieces that I sell on my story. It’s a dream in of its own - not one social media glorifies but it’s my personal dream right now and for you all, I’m so grateful. 🥹

There’s a vicious shift that happens when you become a mother. It consumes your entire soul, body, psyche, and mind. It can make the most mundane of tasks seem impossible. It burns everything you once knew to the ground: your relationship, your work, your expression, your body. It’s the most cathartic, brutal, and transformative experience I’ve ever had the honor to go through. But on the other side of the wild initiation is a version of you that burns with passion, growth, new ideals and goals. It can take a while to rebuild every aspect of your life but if you’re lucky you can find yourself on the other side happier than ever. Life full of radiance you’d didn’t know possible. Joy feels the tiniest moments when he smiles at you. When he says no learning his independence. When he learns how to do what we wants. When he gives you his night night kisses.

For my mothers, soon to be mothers, and one day hopeful mothers, you are my inspiration, my muse, and the beautiful mirror I love to adorn. ✨🤍🫧
