It’s amazing how a handmade strap can change the entire experience of a watch. I recently completely this one; cut from Italy’s oldest tannery’s vegetable tanned leather. Hand dyed, saddle stitched, and burnished. I don’t offer straps for sale to public but some of my favorite strap makers that I strongly recommend are to name a few.

Some more relume work here. This dial had most of the lume missing. I aimed to mirror the period application keeping the relume very thin and almost 2 dimensional. This was done with my proprietary tier 2 pigments. Mirroring tritium but with no radioactive emission. First 2 photos before. Rest after relume.

It’s nice to have friends in the watch world. Big thanks to my Longines guru buddies and for helping me restore this 1945 Longines 5415 to original spec. Now with this original untouched dial installed the watch really comes alive. I love how the bitonal character comes through from the subdials at different angles.

This submariner dial had been relumed with what looked like gloss white paint! We of course had to correct this. First three photos are pre work. Last few are post relume. On this 16800 dial, the lume application is very thin (rather than the thick three dimensional 60’s style) so I did my best to replicate that approach.
