𝐏𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬 𝐂𝐨𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐒𝐩𝐨𝐭𝐥𝐢𝐠𝐡𝐭: 𝐇𝐞𝐥𝐩𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐇𝐚𝐲𝐰𝐚𝐫𝐝’𝐬 𝐎𝐰𝐧 “𝐅𝐢𝐫𝐞𝐛𝐢𝐫𝐝𝐬” 𝐑𝐞𝐚𝐜𝐡 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐫𝐬.
There is something deeply moving about watching a dream take flight. This year, five local students and cadets at the Civil Air Patrol— 𝐈𝐬𝐡𝐚𝐚𝐧, 𝐀𝐚𝐭𝐡𝐦𝐢𝐤𝐚, 𝐋𝐮𝐜𝐚𝐬, 𝐍𝐢𝐫𝐯𝐚𝐧𝐚𝐯𝐢, 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐘𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐞𝐧—did the impossible. As a first-year "rookie" team, they out-calculated over a thousand veteran programs to earn a spot at the National Rocketry Finals just outside Washington, D.C.
At 𝐏𝐍𝐆 𝐉𝐞𝐰𝐞𝐥𝐞𝐫𝐬, we believe in the brilliance, dedication, and heart of our local youth. These five cadets have already proven they have the talent to reach the stars—now, we need to make sure they can get to the finish line.
𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐢𝐬𝐬𝐢𝐨𝐧: The team is set to represent the Bay Area in Virginia on May 16, 2026, but the costs of travel, lodging, and logistics for five students and their gear are significant. PNG is incredibly proud to support their journey by kickstarting their travel fund, but they still need our community's help to cover the remaining trip expenses.
