“… As an agent of change and catalyst of hope, I was overjoyed to tell the students of Kibera that students across the ocean, that live in the U.S. are eager to meet them, and to exchange letters”

Kibera, a garden misunderstood.
One of the largest slums in the world, they say, but I see roses.
fierce and unrelenting 🌹….
pushing through concrete, & blooming against the odds.
What some call a slum, I consider a hidden oasis.
Its a place overflowing with brilliance, rhythm, and resilience.
A community often overlooked,
yet bursting with artists, dreamers, dancers, poets, innovators, engineers
and perhaps, the next president.
As an agent of change and catalyst of hope, I was overjoyed to tell the students of Kibera that students across the ocean, that live in the U.S. are eager to meet them, and tonexchange letters.
Their reactions? Absolutely priceless.
I can’t wait to show you the “reel” joy on their faces.
At Accent Styles Boutique, we take deep pride in creating opportunities
