I don't buy in bulk; each stone is handpicked and special. One of my greatest joys is spending hours looking through gemstones, minerals, fossils, and meteorites. I will find them anywhere and everywhere I go. Every stone that makes its way into my hands is intentional, and has somewhere that it's meant to land. They all live together in my personal collection until the time comes for one to be wr
apped and find its new place in the world. Some stay with me for some time before the time comes to pass them along. I take great care to ensure that your future stone is securely wrapped, and cared for until it reaches you. Each wrap is completely handwoven out of sterling silver wire, and takes anywhere from 2-4 hours to complete. I have always had a deep love and appreciation for art, but never quite found a medium that suited me. I was always frustrated that I couldn't translate my ideas into reality. A friend told me to focus less energy on the outcome of the final product in order to truly enjoy the process. This was a turning point for me. When I stopped worrying about the end result and finally found myself present in my work, I found that my work finally represented me. After learning some wire wrapping techniques, my interest in the physicality of stones quickly turned into a deep appreciation of their healing properties and true, natural beauty. Each piece becomes a unique, organic, wearable piece of art. I am constantly inspired by life, and try to find the beauty in every bit of the world around me. My study of Reiki has furthered my desire to find an outlet to share healing energy with those who seek it. I truly believe that these stones end up with those who need them, and that I can only keep what I have by giving it away. I continue to learn new techniques, though the wrap is only a carrier for the infinite potential that each stone has for the person meant to enjoy it.
