Generales & Generales Fine Jewelers was founded in the quiet town of Toluca Lake, California in February of 1969. Van Ohanian, the little store opened with the promise that only the best will do. Still a family owned store, the name was changed in 1998 to reflect the growth and renewed i

nterest by the next generation. Our customer base has grown over the years to thousands of loyal customers spanning several generations. We are committed to adhering to the highest standards of quality and integrity, as we are members of the Gemological Institute of America (GIA), American Gem Trade Association (AGTA), Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), Jewelers of America (JA), and the Jewelers Vigilance Committee (JVC). As we are located in Toluca Lake, California, we have had the pleasure to help numerous movie stars such as Bob Hope, Jonathan Winters, Joe Mantegna, Erik Estrada, Andy Garcia, and Kirsten Dunst to name a few. We have one Graduate Gemologist (G.G.) on staff and one Gemologist (G) from the prestigious school GIA. All our trained staff must attend GIA and complete a minimum of an Accredited Jewelry Professional (AJP).
