Hi, my name is Jelli Black and I am the owner and creator of The Blackbird Bijou. I have two adorable little boys, Liam (3) and Everett (1), that I take care of during the day while my husband, James, teaches elementary school. I started making jewelry as a hobby a couple of years ago and it has quickly escalated into a passion to create. My first wire project was our Bird's Nest necklace and I started hand-stamping on pennies. I handcraft each of our adorable and customized trinkets at home and I love doing it! It is so satisfying to make something for someone else, and I especially love that each of my personalized products celebrates the people that are most important in all of our lives, our loved ones. With the launch of my store, I also wanted to provide affordable ready-to-ship jewelry options. Each product in our ready-to-ship section is something I have personally tried and would wear myself.
