While faceted gemstones are cut to reflect light, others are polished into smooth shapes called cabochons to highlight their color and natural characteristics.

One is an Eco-Drive and one is a Quartz.
And if those two words sound like another language to you right now… they won’t for long because we’re about to tell you what they actually mean!

☀️ Eco-Drive: This one is powered by LIGHT! Natural or artificial light charges the watch and that energy is stored inside, meaning you don’t have to worry about your typical battery changes.

🔋 Quartz: This one is powered by a traditional watch battery! Once the battery runs out, you simply replace it and you’re good to go.
So basically…

☀️ Eco-Drive = light powered
🔋 Quartz = battery powered

See? Watches aren’t nearly as complicated as they sound
