It's handcrafted jewelry designed by and created for all the wonderful weirdos of the world! Radish Fight Jewelry is an homage to my younger brother who died in 2013. After suffering with multiple addictions throughout his life, the monster known as heroin ultimately won. When we were kids — I was probably 7 or 8, he was 4 or 5 — my grandparents would take us all over the country in their motorhom
e during the summers. One time, we were at a campsite in Florida (I believe), and my brother and I were using various vegetables and a bucket of water to "paint" the wooden picnic table. Well, according to legend, I held the lone radish hostage and proceeded to taunt my little brother — in true big-sister fashion — while he screamed and cried and threw the most hilarious fit ever thrown over a vegetable. Of course, I took great pleasure in it, but I eventually gave him the radish. I don't remember it, but that fight has lived on through stories at every holiday, birthday, and get-together ever since. It's from this infamous dispute that Radish Fight Jewelry was born. Radish Fight Jewelry is my place to play; a place to toss worries and sadness aside and celebrate the good. The materials I use and the types of jewelry in my shop are wide and varied. When loss or any other type of sadness overtakes you, I find it important to step back and embrace and celebrate the happiness that seems as if it's buried — it's there; I promise. For me, that means not taking myself too seriously and allowing myself to play and be free. I encourage you to take a look around, allow a smile to creep across your face, and see how Radish Fight can help you celebrate the hidden "good" in your life.
