Massage is back! After taking a hiatus for a few years, our favorite massage therapist will be in studio to pamper you.

Rainwater Harvesting presentation, Desert Tortoise education & Open Studio

At this second Community Collaboration we will be joined by Jonah from Transforming Terrain who will guide us in a presentation about the benefits of rainwater harvesting and how you can more easily implement this permaculture principal at your home.
— beginning again in July, Tucson Water customers can earn a rebate of up to $2000

You will also be able to tour Casa Kira’s Sonoran desert tortoise enclosure built in accordance with the Sonoran Desert Museum’s specifications and planted with native edible tortoise food. Kira will be on hand to answer questions about Sonoran desert tortoise enclosures; how you can properly build one, plant edibles for the tortoise, and apply to adopt one of the many desert tortoises that need homes.
Green Bee will have tortoise edible plants available for purchase.

There is also still plenty of nearly thornless, prickly pear (a tortoise delicacy 😂) available for free so bring a bag and fill it up.
