💜 The Faith Reflections Story — Part 6
God Isn't Finished Yet!
In 2023 and 2024, God continued to work through Faith Reflections. Our Bible Journaling Retreat continued to grow as we moved to a beautiful new location in Beersheba Springs, Tennessee.
Then, just before our 2025 retreat, our good friend Shannon Pendergraff joined our ministry team. What a blessing she has been!
Shannon brought creative gifts, talents, and skills that Jan and I greatly needed. She inspired us!! Looking back, we can see so clearly that God knew exactly what—and who—we needed for what He was about to do next.
God is so good!
God began leading Faith Reflections into another exciting new season.
One day, the three of us were sitting together talking about Bible journaling. Our conversation turned to people who would love to try Bible journaling but just don't know how to begin.
We found ourselves saying, “What if…?”
What if we could create something that would help someone who had never Bible journaled before? What if we created a devotional book that included not only the devotions, but also stickers, decorative pages, and journaling pages—everything someone would need to pick it up, open God's Word, and begin journaling?
That little “What if?” became a dream.
And then the work began!
There was prayer, trial and error, lots of prayer, learning new programs, lots of prayer, working with a publishing company, lots more prayer, and finally finding a printing company that understood our vision.
And in August 2026, we held the book in our hands for the first time: a book we truly believe God gave us.
Encouragement — Devotions for Expressive Art Journaling.
What a moment that was! 💜
So many of you encouraged us, prayed for us, cheered us on, and patiently followed along through this entire process. We can't begin to tell you how much that has meant to us. Thank you!
But God still wasn't finished.
In July 2026, we launched our sister ministry website, Faith Reflections Expressions.
Faith Reflections Store and Faith Reflections Expressions work hand in hand, but we realized we needed a way to distinguish between the store and the growing ministry opportunities God was giving us.
And that pretty much brings our story up to today!
What an adventure this has been!
So, what's next for Faith Reflections?
We don't know all the details—and if you've followed this story from the beginning, you probably know by now that I've learned not to think I have it all figured out! 😊
We are dreaming about more Bible journaling devotionals, conferences, creative faith opportunities, online printables, expressive art projects, and possibly even a new Creative Faith Ministry Retreat.
But more than anything, we want to continue following wherever God leads.
One of my favorite Scriptures has always been Proverbs 3:5–6—"Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on our own understanding, in all your ways, acknowledge Him and He will direct your path.
That Scripture really is the story of Faith Reflections.
Every time I thought I knew the plan, God reminded me that His plans were bigger—and so much better—than mine.
My prayer is that Faith Reflections will continue to be a place where you find encouragement, grow in God's Word, and discover the joy of expressing your faith creatively.
I hope you've enjoyed hearing our story over these past several posts. More importantly, thank you for being part of it. Some of you have been with us since the beginning, while others have just recently found us. We're grateful for every one of you.
We can't wait to see what God has planned next! 💜
With love,
Linda
