We are honored to be a small part of a meaningful benefit event, Nobody Fights Alone – A Benefit for Maddi and Kinlee. Shadow Oak Fine Jewelry has no prior relationship with these families, but we couldn’t pass up the chance to support such a worthy cause.

Maddi was diagnosed with AML leukemia last January. During her fourth round of chemotherapy, she developed an infection that caused permanent vision loss in her right eye and recently underwent surgery to repair her retina. This washer and co****le tournament will help with medical expenses, travel, and missed work while caring for her. It will also help make her senior year special with things like her Letterman jacket, class ring, senior pictures, prom dress, and a small senior trip.

💕 Maddi agreed to the benefit only if part of the proceeds could also help another local child. Kinlee has been diagnosed with DIPG (Diffuse Intrinsic Pontine Glioma), a rare and aggressive brain tumor, and we hope to support her family during their journey.

We will be in Lufkin, TX at 58 Junction on March 22 from 12 PM until ??? selling our newest collection. Now through the end of March, 10% of all sales—including custom orders—will go to these families. If you see a stone you love, we can design something together. Bench days look a little like this—raw, unfinished, and full of potential.
These pieces are all in progress, paused mid-conversation between metal and stone. Brass, sterling, and copper taking shape around bold, earthy stones that haven’t quite decided what they want to be yet. Hammer marks still showing. Bezels not fully settled. That moment where everything could still change.
This is the part I love most—the in-between.
Where western grit meets quiet luxury, and nothing is polished enough to hide the hand that made it.
