Bonnie’s Bus is more than just a bus, It’s WVU Cancer Institute’s mobile mammography unit, bringing breast cancer screenings directly to communities across West Virginia, especially rural areas where access to mammograms can be limited. Since 2009, Bonnie’s Bus has helped make early detection more accessible and has played an important role in improving women’s health across the state.
