Watching students appreciate and express themselves through visual arts while making community and cultural connections is what I love most.

My baby Jujube. We adopted Jujube from the San Antonio Humane Society in December 2024. She is a delight for me, although she is a handful of a puppy, much like a two-year-old when it comes to potty training. Jujube is a Shih Tzu; she is smart, very sweet, playful, and friendly. I just wanted to share that adopting her was the best choice. After Lani, I thought I'd never have another pet companion. Those who knew Lani Lou knew she was a gem! Jujube has found a place in my heart.

Those who touch our lives, stay in our hearts forever. The love in our family flows strong and deep, leaving us memories to treasure and keep. I loved you for your whole life and I will remember you for the rest of mine. Death leaves a heartache nothing can heal, love leaves a memory no one can steal. I will miss you my brother
