When I first started taking jewelry classes , my teacher said that someday, something we made might have true sentimental meaning. At the time, I was just dabbling and having fun. I still am (!) but recently, I was asked to make a necklace for the sister of a high-school classmate of mine who passed away too soon (early-onset Alzheimer’s SUCKS!)
This necklace says “Colleen” in Morse Code. It is a memento that her sister can wear to remember her.
I have made these to celebrate love, children and spouses! I have also made them to commemorate lost loved ones, including pets.
I always feel honored to make them.
