There’s something mesmerizing about the flashes of green sweeping across this stone like lightning across a stormy sky.

This one-of-a-kind 5.06ct Semi-Black Green Lightning Ridge Opal from Australia measures 16 × 10.4mm and is truly a showstopper.

A different way to see Australian Sapphire. 🌙

Shaped like a crescent moon, these dark blue sapphires bring a celestial touch to a distinctive calibrated cut. The curved silhouette makes them an interesting option for jewelry designs that look beyond traditional gemstone shapes.

Available in sizes from 5x3mm to 7x5mm.

Do you know who cuts your gemstones, or what conditions they were working in? These are important questions to ask because knowing the origin is only part of understanding a gem’s journey.

These photos show what could be happening behind the scenes if you’re not asking these questions. A workspace without proper personal protective equipment, ventilation, silica dust controls, or cutters working in makeshift spaces that lack basic safety measures. In some cases, even children may be exposed to hazardous working conditions.

When gemstones are cut, silica dust can settle on skin and become airborne. Prolonged exposure can cause silicosis, an incurable lung disease, that can be prevented through proper precautions and safer working conditions.

This is why our 𝘾𝙪𝙩𝙩𝙞𝙣𝙜 𝙏𝙤𝙬𝙖𝙧𝙙 𝘾𝙝𝙖𝙣𝙜𝙚 fundraising raffle supports the Peoples Training & Research Centre (PTRC) and its work to address and prevent silicosis, improve worker safety, and support affected workers, families, and communities.

Every $25 raffle ticket will be donated PTRC’s work.

Autumn is here, and these 5mm Fire Citrine® trillions are bringing all the warm seasonal color.

With their vibrant orange-red hue and crisp trillion shape, they bring to mind changing leaves and everything we love about fall. A great choice for designs that lean into the richer tones of the season.
